Make Your Blog Popular

Hi. First of all, I would like to thank the admin for inviting me as a guest blogger. I am honored to write for this site’s audience. Few days ago, I wrote a post on my blog called Top 4 Ways to Make Your Blog Popular and got a great response from my readers and friends. Today, I will be discussing some main points that I have earlier discussed in my post.

This article writen by our Guest Blogger of this month, himoacs. Thank you very much for your contribution, mate!

There are millions of blogs out there and it is definitely not easy to make a blog popular but with right decisions and tactics you can manage it. There are four important ways to achieve this: Writing unique and interesting posts, Bookmarking, Using forums and blogs and Freebies.

Writing unique content is a must to gain permanent readers. No one likes to read posts that they have already read previously on some other famous blog. If you want your blog to be popular, then you have to write some interesting and unique posts that will gain readers’ attention. If readers like your writing and opinions then they will stick with you and your blog.

Bookmarking is really famous these days. A lot of people use bookmarking sites like Digg and StubmbleUpon to discover interesting stories. Thus you should use these bookmarking sites to get some traffic to your blog. You should always submit your posts to major bookmarking sites…especially Digg.

Forums and blogs are another way to popularize your own blog. You should join some really nice forums and share your blog with the forum members. Ask them to review it and see if they like it or not. You can also use your suggestions to build a better blog. Also, it is important that you read posts on other blogs and leave some nice comments. This can also help bring some traffic to your blog. However, make sure that your comments do not look like spam.

A lot of famous bloggers usually give away every now and then to your readers and I think it is a fabulous way to get some readers quickly. You can hold contests on your blog or give some freebies like free logos to attract readers and make them like your blog for all the gifts that you give away. However, remember that this should not be the highlight of your blog. It should just be there to spice things a little bit.

Allright guys, this is it. It was nice talking to you guys. I hope I can write again here some other time.

Seven Tips to Work at Home

Working at home has been very popular the last few years. People have preferred working at home than in an office. One of the reasons is the high gas price and the traffic they may be facing going to work. This can be very frustrating. Now newspapers and employment agencies provide jobs to work at home. However, another alternative is to have your own business.

But working at home can have his own challenges. Sure you avoid traffic jam but to make it more efficient you should not waste the time you have gained. So, here are seven tips for you to make working at home more efficient.

Tip 1. Follow a rigid schedule.
You know how much time you have to work at home, so schedule your work and your free time in advance. One of the ways to get it accomplished is to use Google calendar. You can also write all your activities on a calendar wall. Just make sure you know in advance what you need to do every hour.

Tip 2.Share the work responsibilities with family members.
If you have older kids they can help you with your work at home. Even your spouse can help you too.

Tip 3.Work every day of the week except for weekends.
Work can be very stressing so take a break. Spend time with your family on weekends, unless you need to do something very urgent.

Tip 4. Make or create a plan. It is the best way to make work more efficient.
If you make a plan for work and follow it, you will save a lot of time.

Tip 5. Have an isolated roomin the house were you can work.
Stay away from the main family activities during work hours. It may distract you and cause you to lose time.

Tip 6. Measure your efficiency.
Have some key measurements to make sure you’re on the right track.

Tip 7. Reward yourself.
When you reach your goal , reward yourself and your family. It can be as simple as going to your favorite restaurant or a weekend away from home. You don’t have to spend a lot of money for the reward. Just take some time off and enjoy your achievement.

Working at home may be a great way to earn more money with less stress, but it is no use if you are not efficient enough.

“The Secret” and the Science of Getting Rich

Have you heard of the DVD called “the Secret”? Well it isn’t such a secret anymore. The DVD was released in March 2006 and according to Time Magazine, the DVD has sold 500,000 units within the first 6 months. Today it sells well over 5,000 copies a day! It ranked in Amazon’s Top-5 sellers during Christmas week; and a tie-in hardcover book just entered the Top 10 on the New York times bestseller list.

The amazing thing about “the Secret” is that you won’t find it in your local Blockbuster or Barnes and Noble, it is selling briskly through new-age bookstores, New Thought churches like Unity and AGape and the official website at www.thesecret.tv. “It’s become the biggest selling item in the 30-year history of our store,” says Harmony Rose Allor, a buyer at West Hollywood’s popular metaphysical bookshop, The Bodhi Tree. it is “word-of-mouth” marketing at it best.

So what is the secret to “the Secret’s” success? It’s is a “transformational movie”, where a person’s view on life and the laws of life will no longer be the same after watching this movie. In a sense, it has created the same kind of effect as “the Da Vinci Code” and the 2004 hit cult movie “What the Bleep Do We Know”. The movie has created such waves that it has already been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live and the Ellen DeGeneres show.

At the core of the movie is a central philosophy called “the Law of Attraction”. In fact, the movie itself was inspired by this very same law when the producer read a book called “the Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Wattles. This books was written in 1910!

This philosophy states that we create our reality, both good and bad! The message is delivered through 24 “teachers” which include prosperity preachers, chiropractic healers, relationship gurus, life coaches and motivational speakers — into one clear, cohesive voice. The movie is a “must watch” for anyone interested in taking charge of their life and in creating the life of their dreams.

Following on the success of the Secret, 3 of the core teachers – namely Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield have collaborated to produce a wealth building program called “the Secret Science of Getting Rich Seminar”. This program is based on the book that inspired the movie and is set to make history as the fastest selling personal development program in history.

What is the Science of Getting Rich about? Well in the words of Wallace D. Wattles, “The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich. Those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor. It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects. Therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich.” The Science of Getting Rich is all about teaching how to do things in this “certain” way to create wealth.

The success of this program is built on several rock solid foundations. These factors include: the phenomenal success of “the Secret”, the timeless concepts from the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles, the credibility of successful personal improvement teachers and New Thought leaders of our time, and the Internet as the distribution medium.

How to Sell Products Online

Ever wondered what it takes to create a store with ecommerce capabilities, to sell your products and services online? I will make an effort to address the financial costs of creating a website, through which, you can sell your products.

1) The first thing that you need is a domain name. This is pretty straight foreward, you just have to go to a domain registrar, and purchase the domain name that you are interested in having.

Domain names are what you type in to get to your website. It’s the DOT COM, DOT NET, DOT ORG, etc. It is essentially the “location” of your website. Domain names cost about $10 per year. When you look for a domain name, you just want to find the cheapest one possible, sense they essentially do the same thing.

2) The next thing that you will need to buy is webhosting. Webhosting is required to put your website online. Webhosting can cost anywhere from $2 a month, all the way up to $300 per month (If you want to buy your own server). A typical price for webhosting is $5 per month. In webhosting, to some extent, you get what you pay for.

3) After you have your webhosting, and your domain name, you will need to buy a shopping cart service. Although some hosts do come with the ability to create a shopping cart, they are usually fairly hard to manage, and you are better just creating your own. Shopping cart services will end up costing you around $100 per year.

4) Now that you have all the tools for creating your website, you will need to buy a software, known as a WYSIWYG. A WYSIWYG is a software that allows you to create a website online, without having to know much, or any technical skills. You just point, click, and type to create your website.

As far as WYSIWYG’s go you really have 2 options.

a) SharePoint – Made by Microsoft. Costs $300 b) DreamWeaver – Made by Adobe. Costs $400

5) Now you need an auto responder. This is what allows you to create a mailing list, and then send emails to the people on it. This is the best way to contact your customers, and you can also use it to contact employees. An auto responder software, will cost you quite a bit. If you have an extremely small mailing list, you will have to pay at least $18 per month. If you have a big one, you could easily pay up to $150.

6) Finally, once you have your website completely set up, and you have everything ready, to start taking and placing orders, you will need to start promoting your website. This entails 3 things.

a) Hire an SEO Consulting Firm – These companies, know how to make your website target different keywords, so that you can get lots of visitors from the search engines (a.k.a. Google, Yahoo, etc.) These will cost you a minimum of $1,000, but it is only a one time fee.

b) Link Building – Now you need to let Google (and the other Search Engines) find your site. To do this, you will need to do various procedures, such as submitting your website to the Search Engines, sending your links to directories, etc. You can usually find a descent service, who will do this for $100. You will want to repeat this process every 3-4 months.

c) Finally you will want to continually do research on your own, in order to find good PPC (Pay Per Click) keywords to buy, and to take advantage of new markets. In order to do this, you need to buy a keyword software. You’ll almost deffinately buy WordTracker, as it is hands down the best software available. But, it costs $300 per year!

So, in order to create a website that gets many page views, can be found in Google, and has ecommerce capabilities, you would have to pay about $1,000 per year, and you would have to pay an additional one thousand dollars just to begin doing this.

Tips on How to Get Started in Forex Trading

The Forex (foreign exchange) market offers you one of the most exciting ways to get involved currency trading. This is true whether you are doing the trading online or if you’re actually calling up a broker and placing your orders. Since you’re actually trading in foreign currency instead of trading within the equity market, there are some differences that you should be aware of. Although there is a lot more about trading in Forex than can be covered in a single article, here is a little bit about how to get started in trading. Like everybody else that gets involved, the learning will become a never-ending project.

First of all, you need to know that every trade that is done on the Forex market needs to be done through a broker. This is not only the case if you are calling up and placing the order of the telephone, but it is also true if you are using the Internet in order to make your trades. Every Internet website that deals in Forex trading which actually allows you to place the trades is backed by a broker.

The best thing for you to do if you’re just starting out in Forex trading is to choose a system or perhaps a number of systems that you’re going to stick with. There are plenty of programs that are available out there which will help you to make your trading decisions and then walk you through every step of the process in order to make them. The best part about these programs is that they generally have a trial period in which you will be using the software in actual trading circumstances but without investing any money at all. This can help you to get used to the system and to see how well it is going to work for you in the long run.

Once you feel comfortable enough to actually make a trade, make sure that you’re not investing more than what you can afford to lose. Although losing everything that you put into your trade is a worst-case scenario, you certainly don’t want to go into debt while you’re trying to make some money investing in Forex. Almost all of the investments that are made in the Forex market are done so in a speculative nature. They are actually just buying the currency in hopes that it goes up against whatever currency they purchased it with.

One of the things that make Forex trading so exciting is that it tends to be a rather volatile environment. News events can change how much a currency is worth almost instantly according to know the market reacts to the news. This can work in your benefit but it can also work to your detriment. Make sure that you keep a calm head and don’t make any rash decisions that you could end up regretting further down the road.

Invest Time in Planning Your Business Strategy

Strategic planning in business is a vital back end exercise, and one that should demand a large chunk of your time and effort. Unlike most other business areas, planning can’t be outsourced or passed on to other parties – it’s something you, as a business owner, will need to concern yourself with.
