Selling Tickets via Seatwave
My husband and I purchase a large number of tickets to live events for his business entertaining needs. Things always seem to come up, and sometimes the tickets cannot be used. We used to give them to friends or employees, but it was becoming costly. Frankly, sometimes our friends were not even fans, they just took the tickets and passed them on. The VP of a major company can’t stand on the corner and hawk theatre tickets, so what could we do?
Our friend found a website, www.seatwave.com, that really helped us out. At Seatwave, fans sell tickets to other fans. Now our unused London theatre tickets can go to someone who really appreciates theatre, not to an employee at my husband’s company who didn’t miss a day of work for a month. We make a little money is the deal also. Seatwave only takes 10% if the tickets sell, and listing them is free.
Besides selling our tickets that we cannot use, I buy all my tickets at Seatwave now. I have purchased theatre tickets, sporting event tickets, concert tickets, reading festival tickets and more. All arrived in plenty of time, and were exactly what I ordered. If my husband is entertaining an executive who enjoys master snooker, I know I can just go to Seatwave and purchase them with no hassles. They really have made ticket buying a no-hassle experience for me.
