Basic Requirements To Obtain Patient Program Assistance
There are many pharmaceutical companies offering program namely Patient Assistance Program. The program mainly aims to offer the free medication and coverage of prescription drugs. Patient Assistance Program emerged after there is a realization that there are over 100 million people in US with no insurance so it is hard for them to cover their medication amidst the rise of commodity price.
It is an advantage for people who can not afford the medication. The people, who want to obtain the services, should select the program and enroll to it. The problem is should they visit each pharmaceutical company to enroll? The answer is no. Patient Assistance is a non profit corporation who provides complete information about Patient Assistance Program including the list of companies which have such programs with the details. Each program has different eligibilities for the applicant, so before enrollment, the enroller is required to analyze and decide which program to follow.
Basically there are three main eligibilities:
1. The people, who wish to join the program, must be categorized in low level income. The total income should be lower than 200% of Federal Poverty Level.
2. The one who enrolls has not joined any prescription drugs coverage program yet.
3. United States resident or citizen.
